Frequently Asked Questions

Organic skincare products contain organically grown ingredients. This means, that the ingredients of organic skincare products are grown without harsh chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides. Your skin absorbs whatever you put on it, so follow the same philosophy for skincare as you would in your diet. There is simply no place for pesticides or unnecessary synthetics.

Natural skincare products are made of ingredients available in nature, the ingredients are biodegradable, and created with a production process that only permits certain specific chemical and physical modifications.

The answer is absolutely, yes! Organic skincare products are effective and it all depends on the ingredients and formulation

This list can be really long as there are so many processed and synthetic ingredients nowadays that are used in skincare products. The most common ingredients used in skincare products that you should avoid are parabens, PEG, phthalates, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), synthetic fragrances, mineral oils, triclosan.

Needless to say, that Masaroo products do not contain any of these ingredients.

The answer is very simple – what you put on your body matters just as much as what you eat. You would not eat food that contained ingredients that you can hardly read or recognise, would you? Your skin absorbs whatever you put on it, so follow the same philosophy for skincare as you would in your diet. There is simply no place for chemicals, pesticides, or unnecessary synthetics.

The type of skincare products that you need really depends on the skin you have. Generally, your skin needs to be cleansed, exfoliated and moisturised. Be careful on what face wash and exfoliating products you use, since using harsh products too often will impact your skin’s PH balance and cause serious skin problems.

We have no plans to make sunscreen. The ingredients that come in sunscreens are too controversial, and we’re not interested in using these ingredients in our products.

If you are really keen on using sunscreen, then we recommend using a moisturiser like Masaroo Replenishing Moisturiser before applying sunscreen to your face. This will nourish your skin while providing a mantle between your skin and your sunscreen.

We guarantee that all our products and ingredients are cruelty-free and have not been tested on animals.

All our products are made without phthalates, parabens, binders, alcohol, or synthetic fragrances.

We are very proud of the quality of our products and take the greatest care with selecting high-quality right ingredients that are kind to your skin and kind to the environment.

There is no skincare routine that works for everyone. It all depends on the type of skin you have. In general, it’s recommended to wash your face in the morning and before going to bed using natural soup without any harsh chemicals that may impact your skin’s PH balance. Once your face is nicely washed, apply a natural moisturiser to nourish the skin. You may also want to exfoliate your face on a weekly basis (the frequency depends on the type of your skin) to get rid of dead skin.

While we’re confident that you’ll love your Masaroo products, we do offer hassle-free, 30-day returns. Starting from the day you receive your product; you have 30 days to try out the product. If, for any reason, you’re unhappy with the product, contact our support team at customerhappiness@masaroo.com and we will give you directions on how to get a refund.
